Deepika’s career in the healthcare sector spans nearly two-decades, working in a diverse range of management roles, and leading a cross-spectrum of healthcare initiatives in healthcare consulting; cost saving projects; quality and patient safety reporting; clinical outcomes data management and clinical information systems design, implementation & integration. Deepika spent over a decade working with the Cleveland Clinic in the US, in several path-breaking roles, helping hospitals around the country develop robust health data and metrics infrastructure, build and staff competent quality department and optimize clinical process and protocols to achieve superior clinical outcomes. 

Since 2015, Deepika has been leading Cleveland Clinic’s outreach efforts in India, by serving as its first Business Development Head for India. Having an in-depth understanding of the US and Indian health care systems, Deepika is uniquely positioned in her current role to serve patients, physicians, and the health care fraternity of India. Deepika strives to transform the experience of patients. Her responsibilities touch every facet of the patient experience journey including accurate diagnoses; physician and treatment mapping; concierge services and follow up. Deepika maintains reliable and trustworthy professional relationships with Cleveland Clinic patients in India and services their medical needs. Deepika constantly explores opportunities to close the gap in market requirements, many times by facilitating expert speakers for medical conferences and educational training programs from the Cleveland Clinic, organizing patient and employee centric health and wellness events in India and facilitating specialty training and preceptorships for Indian physicians at the Cleveland Clinic. 

Leveraging her strong background in Information Technology, Deepika has been serving as the Director for IMAS Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. since 2019. IMAS Healthcare Pvt Ltd., is currently the first and only company in India to offer Cleveland Clinic’s physician to physician video consultations in the region. In her role as the Director of the company, Deepika strives to augment Cleveland Clinic’s mission of transcending the geographical boundaries to serve patients across the globe by collaborating with Indian physician experts in resolving complex medical decisions for their patients, often requiring more than 1 expert opinion and occasionally requiring additional diagnostic testing that is not available in India. 

Deepika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Master’s degree in Computer Information Science from Cleveland State University in Ohio, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Osmania University, India. Deepika has completed rigorous leadership training programs including Emerging Leader Program organized by talent management experts at Cleveland Clinic. Deepika is a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland
